Home' Aspiration - Friends of Woodford Giving Campaign : Aspiration 2010 Contents how much should
We are asking each household to
consider a gift of $500. We also
ask for those who can afford to be
more generous to consider a larger
amount. Gifts can be made as a one
off, quarterly or monthly contribution
(eg. a $500 gift can be made in
12 monthly payments of $42 per
We also understand that not
everybody can afford a $500 gift. We
are grateful to those who can make
a smaller one-off gift to Aspiration.
Some households might consider
giving regularly, which may be a
more manageable and affordable
way to give. Regular giving will
provide us with a solid fnancial
foundation helping to underpin our
sustainable future. It goes without
saying that all gifts, large and small
will be gratefully received.
Already some supporters of
Woodford have chosen to bequest
a sum of money in their wills.
Bequests help ensure that our
valuable work continues even after
you have passed on. There are a
number of ways people can leave
a bequest to Woodford, please go
bequests for more information.
A simple way to give to Aspiration,

how you canhelp your gift is tax
Our organisation has qualifed for
deductible gift recipient (DGR) status
from the Australian Tax Offce. This
means your taxable income will be
reduced by the amount of your gift
(this means that people on higher
incomes are only paying just over
ffty cents with each dollar gifted).
A receipt will be issued directly
following all one off payments. For
those who give via multiple payments,
you can opt for multiple or end of year
Many hundreds of supporters
have indicated their enthusiasm to
assist in the fundraising, and have
contacted us with a variety of ideas.
We have launched the Aspiration
Campaign with this brochure, our
website and the phone campaign.
For those who would like to help
we would love people to assist
by running their own fundraising
events, initiating Workplace Giving
programs, volunteering as a
fundraiser at upcoming festivals and
of course talking to friends about
this Aspiration. If you are interested
in helping would you please phone
our offce (07 5496 1066) or email
